In the Summer of 2011 I went to Amsterdam, Netherlands for two weeks with a class from University of Missouri - St. Louis.

When we came back to St. Louis we designed and screen printed posters about our trip.

Screen Printed Posters
While in Amsterdam I collected a lot of different ephemera; that included metro (subway) maps. The are all of the subway maps that I collected superimposed on top of each other. Click on the picture to get a closer look at the poster.
Amsterdam has been around for hundreds of years but still manages to be modern without losing sight of it's history. The city just keeps building on top of itself, unlike here where we go out they tear down, rehab or update. This makes for a very interesting juxtaposition around the city. The Dutch are known to be blunt. Not rude, they just don't see the point candy coating things. "Er geen doekjes om winden." was a popular saying. Click on the picture to get a closer look at the poster.
